SNClocks > When looking at a mechanism like this under a microscope I am always amazed at the extreme precision of the Viennese masters work. This winding click is roughly a quarter inch long, yet so perfect. And, given that the mechanism is 150 years old - in fantastic shape!

An interesting point to me is how the oil sinks on some of hte pivots do not align exactly with the pivot holes. Check out the pivot just below the strike arm and the pivot that is the second up from it. Both are offset quite a ways..
